We’re on our final week before our Thanksgiving Week off! Woo hoo! We cannot thank you enough for your patience and grace through these trying times. While we can get caught up in the hustle and bustle of dealing with this pandemic, we can’t lose sight of what is important to us…our family. Let’s finish this week strong!
We’re working hard and doing just fine! This week, we have our Success Supplies Distribution on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9th from 4:00pm – 5:00pm. Also, there will be NO SCHOOL on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11th in observance of VETERANS DAY! Here is our schedule for Week 3 in First Grade:

We are getting into the groove of things! We learned a lot these past six weeks and we are exploring the possibilities in this virtual landscape! Our students are beginning to show independence by logging in to class on their own and navigating between applications like professionals! Kudos!!

We made it to Week 4 in Distance Learning. Hooray!! All of us have made great strides in navigating through our applications and platforms, and establishing routines. During these past few weeks, your First Grade Team has been working hard behind the scenes to provide engaging instruction for our kiddos. This week, we’re introducing Nearpod! We made it to Week 3! Hooray! This week, we will have a more normalized routine. Don’t forget that on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th, each First Grade class will be holding a Curriculum Night at 5:00pm. Please be on the look out for specific information from your teacher. Here’s to a great week!

It’s the start of the new school year! This school year is definitely going to be different from years past. The best part is, we’re making history, even rewriting it! What we do now is going to be echoed throughout the ages. We are pioneers, the leaders of tomorrow, and the best part is…we’re doing this TOGETHER.
Your First Grade Teacher Team this year is Mrs. Zavala, Miss Mazeau, Mrs. Carreon, Mrs. Diaz, and Mrs. Lee, and we have been working tirelessly to get you “Success Supplies” and testing out the applications for the school year! We have added some important information below. Don’t worry, in the next few days, we will update you with more news to keep you informed. We only ask for your continued patience and understanding, as we forge ahead for a great school year!

If you have already picked up your “Success Supplies”, take some time to familiarize yourselves with the contents in the folders. For those of you who missed the “Pick Up Party” on Wednesday, no worries! We have a Make Up Pick Up Party tomorrow, Saturday, August 29th from 9:00am to 11:00am.
